Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW) is produced through the process of ionization, a technology that was discovered decades ago. Over the years, the design and development of water ionizers has advanced utilizing the latest technology and improved components. The process of ionization documented by thousands of scientific studies and research is proven “science”….and simply the restructuring of the H2O water molecule. Based on the specific ionization, different levels of pH (e.g. acid, neutral or alkaline) waters are created. At the various pH levels, the water has certain properties and can therefore be used for specific purposes (e.g. drinking, cleaning, sanitizing, wound care, etc.). The more complete the ionization, the more potent and stable the properties….and therefore the desired results of its use. There are factors that will affect this ionization process:

 

1.     Filtration – it’s a known fact that municipal tap water contains many harmful and toxic chemicals and pollutants (e.g. jet fuel, arsenic, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc.). The presence of various contaminants can impede the ionization process. Therefore, the quality of the filters that are in a water ionizer is a very important factor to producing the best ionized water. HQO has the best filtration of all ionizers on the market!!! It has 2 state of the art filters that were originally developed for NASA. The filtration in HQO is so far superior that we can actually put “water purifier” on our boxes and can ship anywhere in the world where it will be welcomed.

 

2.      Electrodes or Plates – the size, quality and material used for these plates also affects the ionization process. The highest quality (and most expensive) available for this component is platinum coated titanium. The HQO has 14 of these high grade plates divided into (2) 7 plate electrodes. No other ionizer has utilized this design. Having 2 separate electrodes allows for the ionization to create high alkaline and strong acid waters to flow through one set of 7 plates and the other set of 7 plates to create the other types of water. This prevents any cross contamination of the waters and reduces potential maintenance issues with the electrodes.

 

 

3.      Power supply – when the water flows through the electrodes, it is the electricity applied to these electrodes that will cause the separation or restructuring of the H2O molecule. Without sufficient power supply, this restructuring or ionization will not be complete and will produce a lower grade of ERW with correspondingly less potent properties, as well as potential overload on the ionizer. The HQO has 375 watts of power….this is 145 watts more than its nearest competitor that has 230 watts.

 

4.     Speed of water flow – one of the most common mistakes that consumers make is running the water too fast when the ionizer allows such flow speed. There is a proper speed of flow that gives the water ample contact with the electrodes/plates and electricity to produce more complete ionization. The HQO has a “flow control” mechanism to prevent running the water too fast and ensures the complete ionization required to produce the most potent and stable properties of ERW.

 

 

To appreciate the importance of complete ionization, we’ll give a brief overview of the properties and some of the uses of the different types of water:

 

1.     HQO water (approximately 8.0 – 9.5pH) – this is the best and healthiest drinking water! The HQO ionizer has settings for 4 different levels of drinking water. The first property is an alkaline pH (anything greater than 7.0pH) that’s highly recommended for drinking to help balance over acidity. This water is more easily absorbed compared to tap and bottled waters and allows for cellular hydration and detoxification. Most important is the hydrogen content of this water making it a natural anti-oxidant that will neutralize free radical damage and an anti-inflammatory that will reverse and prevent the underlying cause of most illnesses and degenerative diseases. Tests conducted by Dr. Peggy Parker, who has authored several books based on her extensive research and is very knowledgeable about this technology, the HQO water contains 3 ½ times more hydrogen than its closest competitor….this is a very significant difference….and its overall health benefits cannot be over emphasized.

  

2.      Filtered water – the pH of this water is the same as your source water but has gone through the filtration in the ionizer.

 

3.     Beautify water (approximately 5.5 - 6.5pH) – this slightly acid pH water is perfect for skin care to replenish the natural moisture of your skin and reduce signs of aging. Use this water to wash your face and to replace expensive toners. This water will help maintain the appearance of a more youthful and healthy skin. This water is also recommended for many plants and flowers.

 

4.     Strong alkaline water (greater than 11.3pH) – this high alkaline pH is used to wash fruits and vegetables as it will remove pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals that regular tap water is unable to wash away. It can also be used to clean kitchen surfaces, stove tops and ovens because of its ability to break down grease and oil. It will replace chemical household products like Windex and 409 as well as laundry detergent.

 

5.     Strong acid water (less than 2.7pH) – this strong acid pH has the ability to kill germs and bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella, staph, MRSA and strep. It can help heal wounds, prevent infections and address other skin issues such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis. Because it can sanitize and disinfect, you can replace many toxic household cleaning products with this water.
